  • Has a visual impairment, including (but not limited to):
    • Malformation/malfunction of the eye
    • Progressive eye conditions
    • Eye trauma or injury
  • Meets financial need requirements

Types of assistance

Eligible individuals may receive financial assistance for sight-saving or sight-improving procedures/surgeries, such as:

  • Cataracts
  • Retinal detachment repair
  • Other vision-related medical treatments
